You Should Know Who Does NOT Deliver A Certified  Appraisal Report  Required By Lenders, CPAs, Attorneys, IRS And Others...

 Auctioneers

Do Auctioneers have a "hidden agenda"?  Maybe.  They may foresee an auction and deliver a value that is inconsistent with fair market value.
99.9% of Auctioneers who are called upon to deliver an Appraisal Report do not deliver a USPAP compliant Appraisal Report.  That means the ethics and reporting of values in a USPAP compliant format are not prevelant.  Therefore, the appraisal value will not hold up to scrutiny with the IRS, CPAs, courts, lenders, attorneys and others!
Dealers

Do Dealers have a "hidden agenda"?  Maybe.  They may foresee the purchase or sale and deliver a value that is inconsistent with fair market value.
99.9% of Dealers who are called upon to deliver an Appraisal Report are not certified because they do not see the need.  Their main focus is to sell and buy equipment not providing a USPAP compliant Report or certification.  Their value will not hold up to scrutiny with the IRS, CPAs, courts, lenders, attorneys and others!
 Is The Depreciation Schedule Accurate?

Clearly...No!  The Schedule is only good for depreciating the equipment and DOES NOT provide the fair market value for a piece of equipment.
